Carrefour and the Dalai Clique

.. or should it be the Dali clique? So surreal has been the way in which an unanticipated viral effect has spread disinformation about Carrefour’s intentions in China, leading to boycotts of and protests outside Carrefour’s Chinese stores. An interesting article in the Financial Times today tells the story. The great Firewall of China is now blocking searches for ‘Carrefour’ in an attempt to defuse the protests.
